FAQs about hotels in New Jersey
The Authentic American Experience
The American Garden State, New Jersey is famous for at least a few things: its central location between New York and Philadelphia, a great coastline with wide beaches and natural sites, and as the birthplace to some of the world’s most famous musicians: Frank Sinatra and Bruce Springsteen.
Natural parks with thriving wildlife and watersports opportunities along the Atlantic coast are more than enough to tempt any outdoor activities lover. Added to the mix are amusement parks, spectator sports venues and many historic sites. But New Jersey is more than just the sum of its parts.
The state where the light bulb, drive-in movie and zip originated from (not to mention cranberry sauce and ice cream cones!), New Jersey has a unique atmosphere, where the legends of the Jersey Devil and the stories of the mafia Five Families go hand in hand.
If you’re after a real American food experience, visit one of over 600 traditional diners, all serving typical grilled and breakfast-style dishes. And by the way, no other place in the world has more diners than New Jersey!
So if you like Jersey best, visit Booking.com before flying off to Newark or Trenton airports. From cheap hotels near New York to motels on the road to Atlantic City, Booking.com has over 500 New Jerseyan properties on offer.

We got around town via Uber/Lyft which was readily available. Some of AC is rundown but I guess every city has that these days. We attended a show at Ocean which was great; had dinner at Angelo's which was very good; had an excellent breakfast at Gilchrist which is on the bay water. The Showboat has lots of entertainment for families which is nice.Guest review byPeiferUnited States - 6.0

From the periodic information passengers were able to get my United flight to Portland Maine was repeatedly delayed and then cancelled because the plane would not be able to land once it arrived. Apparently the problems on 4 September were building up throughout the day. Before the flight from LA landed my daughter in Sydney, Australia messaged me to tell there were ”shenanigans” at Newark.Guest review byMargaretAustralia - 10

We were traveling from central PA to visit the Statue of Liberty and didn't want to make the trip in one day, so we decided to get lodging the night prior to our day trip. We debated on whether to stay in New Jersey or New York. We searched for rooms and this motel in Jersey City seemed like a good choice. It was perfect. We walked to a coffee shop in Jersey City and felt quite safe. We passed many solo joggers, mothers with small children and bicyclists. The part of the city we were in was very clean. We were pleasantly surprised.Guest review byCornelius - 10

Nice secure area, mind the pavements they may be bumpy (though getting fixed from time to time), close to NYC, tunnel takes its time but was never extreme, nice small neighborhoods, great view on NYC, nice shopping (mall, low price shops, dine-in)Guest review byVividAustria - 10

After landing at Liberty, we rented a car for our tours of NYC. Finding and paying for parking in NYC was a difficulty I could live without. Fortunately, most tolls were paid with the car rental agreement. The Secaucus location was perfect for driving, but the buses stop right outside the hotel. If it were available to guests, more information on bus routes to the City's main attractions, as well as details on paying for bus and subway toll passes and wheelchair accessibility, would be helpful and might change how a traveler chooses to get around.Guest review byReyesUnited States - 4.0
It was a good location.
It was a good location. Advertised as fully equipped kitchen, but there was nothing in the kitchen area. We had to ask for a coffee pot and coffee. Breakfast was very sparse - a granola bar and small muffin. Room was very dated, I.e., cabinet doors falling off, shower over tub.Guest review byAnonymous - 10
Princeton is a beautiful and interesting place to visit.
Princeton is a beautiful and interesting place to visit. There is so much history and art to explore and study . Such an accessible town to walk about. It's impossible to be bored here. Lots of attention to beauty and presentation: architecture and landscape . Since this was a family visit, I didn't have enough time to enjoy the musical offerings. We'll be back.Guest review byDanielleUnited States - 10

parking should be free its customers.
parking should be free its customers. It cost us an extra $100 which we were unaware of the daily price of parking until we got the charge. There was nothing showing how much it will cost us for parking - transparency. towels / wash clothes seem to be in short supply ever time we asked, so we had to keep going back / forth. Staff was great in their jobs / helpful. Location was great.Guest review byBdaonionBermuda - 8.0

The town is kind of a stripmall and conference center wasteland but everybody we chatted with in shops was friendly and accommodating of weirdos. We picked up groceries at the Whole Foods to make sandwiches in our hotel room, didn't eat at any restaurants. We enjoyed the event we were in town to attend but did not really see the sights otherwise. Getting around requires a car and can be stressful.Guest review byAnonymous
