If you love history Charleston is a must! We loved the historic walking tour we took. It is a beautiful city! It was extremely charming and clean. There are many wonderful restaurants and lots of great shopping on King Street and the City Market. We loved Hatcher Gardens, it was probably the highlight of our trip. The downtown area was a bit hard to navigate with a larger vehicle but there was a lot to see/do there as well. The staff at the Hub City Train Museum was phenomenal- knowledgeable and friendly. We have family there so we visit every 3 months. Lots of traffic but it flows quickly enough. Gives you time to check out shops as you are sitting in traffic. We love the "old town" section.
