AlbaniaLocation was great, within walking distance to a lot of things to do around Apia. Great hospitality from staff, we were greeted with fresh fruit and cold water which was lovely. Also able to store our bags as we weren't flying until 6:15pm and wait in the air conned restaurant until our taxi. The breakfast was the best we had during our two week stay in Samoa!

Nice big comfortable bed. Two buffet evening meals were very nice - one barbecue, the second Mexican. Lovely sunsets. Reasonable snorkelling (but we've been spoilt in other places!). Very friendly staff, especially Sanjay the Food and Beverage manager, who kept everything in the restaurant working smoothly. I was only here for one night, for proximity to my early flight the next day. I would probably stay a couple of nights if returning to enjoy the facilites and surrounds. The staff were amazing from day one till the end of our stay. Everything went went well. We enjoyed our event on the second night and the food was much better compare to our first dinner. Lovely place, very interesting culture, hired a car, went to swim at Turtle Bay, drove into the town to look around. Bought food at some of the local food places, but the best food and price was the resort itelf. To get around one does need to hire a car, they are expensive however. But to get the feel of Samoa, necessary. There are cheaper places to stay, it depends on what you want. A beautiful new airport complements the island, previously was a tin shed but what was lovely about that was the welcoming group singing and paying guitars. There is so much more to Samoa to see than just Apia. There are many beautiful resorts on the southern side of the island and many great snorkelling spots. 2 restaurants we enjoyed in Apia with Paddles and Giodarno's. There is not much to do out in this area as its really the wharf town for the ferry out to Savaii.
