- From US$86.60 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,218 reviewsStayed with family of 10 in 5 Bedroom manor. It is a beautiful home in the mountains. Large dining and lounge area with deck overlooking mountains and hot water splash pool. Very well furnished and designed en suite rooms. Very private with Air conditions and fireplace. Have vacationed extensively in the berg with family. This was by far the most comfortable and memorable. The last few kilometres to resort was a bit challenging however if you drive carefully it’s manageable. All the staff were excellent. Congratulations to management.Guest review byEdris MoosaSouth Africa
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,334 reviewsThe hotel is definitely an experience - the grounds are beautiful, the hotel is steeped in history but still offers modern amenities, and the pub (with home-brewed beers and home-distilled G&T on tap) just rounds off a wonderful stay. The staff are all amazing, and really go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Highly recommended!Guest review byAlexNetherlands

Theres plenty to do and see, its a real destination.
Theres plenty to do and see, its a real destination. A few days here melt away in the mountains. Especially great if you enjoy hiking and being outdoors. Food options range from independent restaurants to grand resort buffets and be sure to try Chocolate memories of you have a sweet tooth. Its pretty much a one road tourist town and is super easy to navigate. It's where I run whenever I get a free weekend.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 8.0

We had lunch at the pig and plough, nice menu - slow service, however, we still enjoyed the food and the venue. The Thokozi restaurant and Deli, good food and a nice variety. Sandra se Winkel was an experience - well worth going to when you are in the area.Guest review bySimon Stewart BWBotswana - 10.0

Lots to see and do around town and on the meander. Staff from most shops seems knowledgable. Most experiences has to do with food and shopping (we aren't adventurers). All attractions are quite close to each other.Guest review byGustavSouth Africa - 8.0
Bergville is 'n pragtige plekkie.
Bergville is 'n pragtige plekkie. Soos met alle plekke in Suid Afrika tans, is die pad na en van Berville, vol slaggate en so ook in die dorp. Dit ten spyt, is dit die moeite werd om daarlangs te reis.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

We had such a lovely time, from the accommodation, the staff, the food and surroundings were great. The only problem we had was that our shower was leaking in the bathroom, and the whole bathroom was under water. but the staff moved us to another room, the shower did not leak, but all the tiles was loose in this bathroom as well. Just think the bathrooms needs some maintenanceGuest review byRenetteSouth Africa - 10.0

There are several resorts and a number of smaller accommodations in this picturesque valley, a hotspot for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts. It is close to the famous Sani Pass, where 4X4 enthusiasts can ascend one of the highest and most scenic trails in Southern Africa. The town has charming shops and eateries, and many of the resorts offer a host of activities, restaurants and outdoor adventure options.Guest review byT_M_S_MSouth Africa - 8.0
Beautiful part of the country.
Beautiful part of the country. Short drive to Nottingham Road, Spar, petrol station. It rained while we were there so we didn't get a chance to walk around. Breakfast was excellent, staff were very friendly and the room was lovely. We missed the TV but there is one in the lounge by receptionGuest review byAnonymousSouth Africa - 10.0

The drive there on a Friday and back to gauteng on a Sunday was peaceful, relaxed and meditative. The farmstalls are great stops even better than fuel stations for tasty biltong and home made food and south african made soaps and lotions. This road trip was so much funGuest review bySlosh
