The hotel is very well located. All the property is very stylish, clean and sooo cozy. We had a very comfortable stay after a long flight. they have also checked us in early which was a great plus given that we had a long and tiring flight.     Misty Hills Country Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The thatched-roof bungalows are spacious with lovely interior décor and furniture, and are laid out along many winding brick paths in a lush tropical setting with flowers, shrubs, and trees, some with botanical labels on them. Along the paths are many splendid African art carvings, statues, small flowing brooks, ponds, and beautiful scenic views. The grounds have been meticulously planned and laid out, as have the rooms and buildings on the many acres in this resort. Each room, dining area, meeting room, and the reception area are adorned with African art—sculptures, paintings, and historic artefacts/memorabilia, with windows that look out in to the tropical gardens and trees. The service is first class. The accompanying huge breakfast buffet has dozens of choices of fresh fruit, warm and cold meats, special dishes, cheeses, cereals, and pastries, with several people ready to cook any personal preference you may have, as well as table service in the large dining hall with its African motif surrounding you. Of course, the world-renowned Carnivore restaurant is on the Misty Hills grounds and is a real treat for those who enjoy a meal of game in a festive setting with meat delivered to your table on large skewers. There is also a nice dining room with a good lunch and dinner menu adjacent to the reception area. In every way, this hotel is great and a wonderful experience; we’re from Canada and have returned every time we’re in the Johannesburg area.

    Blades has an authentic African feel without the usual cliches. It is only a short drive from Pretoria and near the Roodeplaat dam. The ambience is excellent, and the service is even better. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Our steak and fillet dinner was terrific and well-presented. Our stay at Blades was the highlight of our trip to South Africa.

    Johannesbourg is a beautiful city but unfortunately with big safety issues mainly in the CBD. The area of Sandton where i stayed at the Sky hotel is maybe or not more beautiful but definitely cleaner and safer. But even there walking at night above all alone, is very risky. Wandering during day time can be enjoyable though you still have to exercise care. It's such a pleasure to go for a ballad at Mandella Square where many tourists go to get pictured with the huge statue of Madiba. Adjecant to Mandella Square visit the Africa's iconic shopping destination, the huge and sophisticated Sandton mall. Have a delicious lunch with a fresh mouth watering smoothie in one of the so many diversed restaurants or coffee shops of the mall. Shopping is pricy in this sophisticated mall. Uber is the best and safest way to move around Johannesbourg.

    Pretoria was a great experience overall — the city has a lot to offer and I enjoyed exploring it. That said, I’d recommend visiting with someone if you can. Traveling alone is fine, but it’s definitely more enjoyable when you have company to share the experience with.

    Decent area, felt safe at all times. To have fun, the prices are lower than the likes of Sandton but its also quite distant from those premium areas and the cost becomes equalized once you factor in things like uber/bolt. Stay if you dont plan to roam a lot.

    This estate is located at a very good spot with nice surroundings, the mall of Africa is at a 2 minutes driving, the estate security system is efficient to prevent theft, robbery and it dissuades the intentions of criminal attacks, thinks that we fear in Johannesburg. But the owner needs to put emphasis on the rooms cleanliness

    Centurion is a very nice place to visit.

    Centurion is a very nice place to visit. Especially if you just want to get aways from your norm and go relax somewhere else. It's a very beautiful town and very safe according to me. It has bolts and ubers everywhere and the mall has every store you might ever think off. It also has a Gautrain station which is huge plus for me. There are also nice places to go and have fun like the Centurion Shisanyama

    The location is perfect closer to a lot of facilities like East Rand Mall which is so enormous and has a variety of stores from food stores to pharmaceuticals like dischem and clicks. Additionaly, Boksburg has lovely attractions and different activities which one can engage in to create fun lasting memories. 👌💯

    You need your own car in that area as the private taxis are so expenses and it becomes so difficult to get around to see all the other places. Nice place, very peaceful, stayed at Clivia Lodge went to Emerald Resort for activities.
