We loved the sweet little path to the cottage (many birds and red duikers to spot), the comfy beds, great kitchenette set-up and host who went above and beyond to make sure our kids also had a blast. The adjacent Delishh restaurant was simply the cherry on top!

The house is close to the town centre and has a private courtyard with secured entrance gate. We booked a triple room for 3 adults and we expected my boy to share with us. However, the owner of the hotel realized there are 4 of us, and gave us an extra room to stay for free. How gracious and generous he is! Thank you! Clearly he doesn't take profit as his final objective, instead he focuses more on his guests ' wellbeing and care. Thank you so much! Both rooms are very clean and comfortable. We did a lot of cooking in the kitchen and saved a lot of money instead of going to restaurants. The hotel is very beautifully organized with a nice garden. Everbvody at the lodge is lovely. They offer a broad variety of activities and organize every chosen activity for you. Food is awesome and abundant. The suites are located in a beautiful Sand Forest, very private and quiet. It is awesome to wake up watching a duiker or a wildebeest walking past your deck. The suites are beautifully decorated and luxurious. Whenever I come back to the Hluhluwe region I will book there again. It was pity that I could only spend two an a half day there. We booked Gooderson DumaZulu Lodge beacuse of references and photos. We were not disappointed. Everything was just great: the setting itself, green garden, big huts, pool and the romantic walk trhough wooden path to restaurant. The dinner was excellent, everything fresh and tasty. Central to a number of tourist attractions, i.e.

Wish we could have spent longer than 2 days at the Hluhluwe/Umfolozi park. Saw lots of animals and the watsapp group that helps you to see much more in the park.
