The apartment was perfect --stylish, spacious, clean, and cozy. It was perfect for our family of 5 (we took a two-bedroom). The kitchen was large and well fitted, the living room was very nice, the balcony was massive with a seating area, and the bedrooms/bathrooms were comfy and clean. We loved that the floor was heated (such a nice touch). We also loved the area it was at, and the grounds were secure and well-manicured (which is expected in a golf resort). Driving in and out of the resort was really nice as it's on a mountain with superb views. The check-in was smooth. We arrived late and hungry, so the lovely front desk staff suggested we order room service from the restaurant. It was delivered quickly and was very delicious. Our apartment was not too far from the main club house for breakfast; as the weather was crisp and cool, it was perfect for a morning walk. The staff at the restaurant were delightful and accommodating...the breakfast buffet was the best we've had whilst in South Africa. Their hot chocolate was a hit with the kids. We weren't able to golf, sadly, as we were on a schedule, but it would be great to bring our clubs next time. The golf course looked fantastic! I used the laundry service, and our items were finished and delivered to our room the next day. They were not ironed, so make sure you specify that option if you need to. The laundry service was reasonably priced (they charge per kilo). What we liked about staying in Knysna is that it was quite central to areas we wanted to visit, like Tsitsikamma Natl Park, and Cango Caves. We enjoyed having dinner some evenings at the Knysna Waterfront (only a 10 min drive). I would definitely stay here again when in Knysna! 3 days was not enough!

Without a doubt the most wonderful hotel I have ever been to. It's not only luxurious but it's beautifully decorated in its very own way. We felt immediately welcome and at home. Every detail has been thought of. The staff is wonderful and management is very welcoming and present during meal times. We can definitely recommend to also eat there at dinner as it's a fantastic restaurant with great food and a unique atmosphere.

Everything seems pretty new and is decorated with taste. The rooms have all you need. The breakfast was really amazing! Perfect for a couple of nights in Knysna. They have a restaurant for dinner that is ok. If this could get a bit better, it would deserve to get known because the ambience is lovely.

The location in the forest is very unique and it felt like being on a treehouse. We had an amazing time and excellent dinner on the sundeck with a fantastic view (monkeys in the forest). This is the place to relax.

very cute, fully equiped. very nice views, super quiet. Kayaks and padell boards free to use. Closely enough to downtown but also separated enough so that you have no noise. can't wait to be back.

Adrienne and Bernie were excellent hosts. They went out of their way for our vegetarian breakfast requirements and were very helpful everyday planning our day trips. We felt like we were at home.

I would like to thank the staff at forest edge, they were friendly, place was neat and clean. Breakfast was exceptional and they went out of our way to make pap for us really enjoyed that touch

Amazing stay at this beautiful hotel on Thesen island in Knysna. Great view from my room. Free parking on site. Wonderful amenities in room - the bathrobe was so soft and comfortable.

I LOVED the croissants...they are Devine. Dinner was fine, but the menu is limited. For a small establishment I got to understand why the dinner menu was so limited in choice.

Amazing experience. Daniel gave us some fantastic ideas for hiking trails. There is no plastic visible in the facility ! We appreciate the water glass bottles a lot!

We loved the spacious room, well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. The bunnies roaming around the property were a nice surprise!

The extraordinary views of and serenity of nature on the deck of the cottage. Also the cottage was really modern with a rural twist.

Pezula was one of the best resorts we have stayed at.The staff was so friendly.The spa was tops.The food and the rooms were amazing
