Altogether great, with a very helpful and professional host. Since the Google Maps location is a bit ambiguous, here are the directions: upon entering the Medina through Bab Tut, take the second street to the right (Ras Rkhama). (The first street to the right is the animal market.) From there, the Derb (cul-de-sac) Alui opens to the right. The riad is at the end of the derb, with the street number 32. Street names and numbers are well-marked.

This is a one of a kind hotel in the middle of the old medina in Tetouan. There are only 5 large guest rooms that include private baths. The hotel is actually a gorgeous old Moroccan palace transformed into an awesome bed and breakfast. The owner and his family run the hotel and make you feel as if you are part of their family. When we arrived, Fara, the owner's sister, sat down with us to enjoy the traditional Moroccan tea. It was a good opportunity for us to ask any questions about Tetouan and Moroccan culture. She was leaving about an hour later and her nephew, Mehedi came on duty. He was equally as welcoming and both felt like they were our family members welcoming us to their beautiful house. We also met the owner who was extremely kind as well. Mohammed took our luggage from the Taxi and walked us to the hotel from the main entrance of the Medina about a 5 min walk. He was so kind to point out all of the highlights along the way. Once we got checked in, Mohammed was our fabulous tour guide for the rest of the afternoon. The next morning we truly enjoyed a lovely Moroccan breakfast at the hotel. We took so many beautiful photos inside this beautiful palace and in Tetouan as well. T

Great Riad in the heart of the Medina, very nice staff, room was beautiful the only thing that we found negative was No A/C,the rest was great!
