We loved the staff at this Kasbah, it’s not too far from the town yet you still are under the vast sky and the sand dunes. The rooms were really clean, comfortable and hygienic. Super spacious tents with all the facilities you could possibly get when camping. Very luxurious glamping experience for us. We enjoyed the night shows with traditional Berber music with a bonfire under the sky viewing the desert. The breakfast was delicious! Dinner is not included but you can purchase it. The staff is really helpful and kind. Definitely worth a visit here. Totally recommend staying at the tents here.

At Riad Madu you will find a 24-hour front desk, a garden and a terrace. Other facilities offered include shared lounge and a tour desk. This is a stunning riad, right at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Gorgeous courtyard and common areas. Beautiful rooms. We got an upgraded one with a private terrace overlooking the dunes. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the ladies in kitchen are the best cooks in the country. We had our best meal of our entire 2 week stay in Morocco (across 10 venues) here. It was a pre-fixed menu for all the guests, but we had no complaints - all the courses were delightful! The riad arranged for us to go out into the dunes on buggies the next morning which was a really fun experience. Sorry we had only one night here - had we known better, we would have skipped the night in the Berber camp and just done the sunset camel riad into the dunes from Riad Madu as well.

For guests with children, the riad offers an indoor play area, outdoor play equipment and a baby safety gate. If you would like to discover the area, walking tours is possible in the surroundings and GITE Take your time can arrange a car rental service. Hospitality level was super! the location of the gite was great as you could walk directly to the dunes in a few minutes and there were lots of camels in the area that you could visit. You would most likely want to have a car because the gite is about 2.5-3 kms from town. We ha a car, which made it easy to go to the hosts house in the morning (where the breakfast was served). The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own food. Did I mention how great the hospitality was?

The property is located in the middle of a town close to Merzouga. The house itself is incredibly beautiful. The swimming pool is what made it perfect. After a hot day of traveling it is the best way to cool down. The host was super kind and helped us with laundry, the airco and food/drinks. We recommend this place to everyone staying a night here to enjoy the local life near the Sahara!
