The building of the property is quite old, it has a very rich history that is presented as you walk towards the room. The building was removed but the old accents are kept. Staff was very nice. The garden is very beautiful and the pool quite large.

We had exceptional customer service even before we arrived at Hotel Alexanderhof as we were offered a cold dinner as we weren't going to arrive until after the end of dinner serving. We were welcomed by Lucas who was friendly and informative. The room was comfy with amazing views, the buffet breakfast was vast and delicious. The pool, whirlpool and sunbathing lawn an added bonus. All staff were friendly. The decor felt very Austrian, which we appreciated as visitors from the UK, the whole experience was exceptional, we were sad to leave

A beautiful villa on the very shore of the lake. An incredible experience and a positive breath of some other, old times while experiencing the feeling of charm and luxury from 140 years ago. An excellent and varied breakfast for which you need to set aside at least an hour with beautiful view to truly enjoy it, of course with the inevitable glass of cold champagne. Special praise to the managers in the restaurant: the great and experienced Darko (an example of what a restaurant manager should be) and the beautiful and perfectly professional Silvia. I also must not forget Claudia who runs the reception, great and focused, always ready for professional advice.

It was everything perfect - the location, the family, the lobby with the amazing view, the breakfast, services. The pension is very good situated, the rooms were clean, fresh towels, amazing view from the balcony, good breakfast with homemade traditional things, a lot of hike tours nearby, ski resorts at 20-30 min by car, Millstätter lake and Villach also very near,~ 20km. The family Baumgartner was very friendly and kind, fulfilled every wish that we had and was very understanding.
