What a gorgeous property! It definitely doesn't have cookie-cutter hotel rooms. Our room was beautiful with a 4 poster bed. We were sorry to only stay one night. It was also in a very convenient location for the down town.

WOWWWW..this was like combination of old heritage homes in Indian village plus Hogwarts in Harry Potter!! Bonus was a windmill in the campus. Excellent rooms, super comfy. Amazing big bathrooms. Ever helpful staff..they guided us so well. hardly 5 block walkable to the downtown Launceston . Hotel is very close to Cataract Gorge "Estuary" which you can walk .

Hotel Grand Chancellor Launceston is located in the town centre, a stone’s throw from the main shopping area, public gardens, business district and Queen Victoria Museum.
