Romantic Hotels in Hlíð í Hörðudal

Our house was very nice and modern. Everything was great! The beds were soft to sleep in, the douche was good, we got shampoo/body lotion/conditioner, a tablet and even pads for women! Also, the food was amazing! Would definitely recommend the pasta 😁

The building looks like it’s recently renovated. Bathroom is super clean and well-stocked with towels. Triple room is spacious. Free breakfast. Can wash clothes with small fee (1000 ISK).

The place was amazing, probably the best throughout our trip. It has a great story, it offers a lot of information not only for the hotel but also the area and interesting facts about Iceland. As we arrived, the woman at the front desk informed us that she has already prepared our breakfast and it is in the fridge in our room. And what a breakfast! It was very diverse and delicious. The room offered a lot of ammenities and a great view. The bathroom was supposed to be shared, but as we were only two couples at the time with two bathrooms on the floor, it felt as if it is just for us. And the bathroom itself was renovated, modern, very warm, clean and had everything you need. The best part was that the hotel was near a beach with a small dock and with almost no lights around we had the most amazing aurora view! I highly recommend this place while travelling around Iceland!

Location, facilities, and comfy beds.

Breakfast was grate, the service at dinner was poor from the non local staff. They were on the phone during service and while between taking orders, no knife or fork at the table, had to ask for water and were not offered any drinks while reading the menu. Local staff where wonderful and everyone was very polite, also the non local staff.

Perfect location by the mountains. It was very tranquil and the place came with a doggy too!
