The property was very clean and the owner and staff very welcoming. The breakfast was good and the pool a plus (it even had a Jacuzzi at one end and there was a sauna and steam room though we did not use it. The property is expanding and is work in progress but that did not detract from our stay at all.

The service by all the staff was some of the best we have ever experienced on all of our travels. They went above and beyond and even clean the inside of our tuktuk each morning. The food was delicious and plentiful. The use of the bikes was an added bonus and we used these to get to the caves. We would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here as a family of 7 and really enjoyed it. The typical sri lankan breakfast was so delicious at this place, really only recommended! The rooms were clean with basic facilities. Swimming pool was clean and fantastic option to freshen up! The location is also in a walking distance from the Cave and golden temple. :) The staff was incredibly kind and the owner even helped us get the last minute tickets for Ella which we appreciated a lot. Thank you everyone!

Very big room, super clean and with all facilities you can need. Susantha, the owner, is extremely kind. He also proposed to bring us on a tour and woke up at 4 am the next morning to let us see sunrise in Pidurangala. His wife is lovely and really taking take of guests. The place is completely in the centre and has a magnificent restaurant two minutes walk from the hotel. Just ask Susantha. You will love this place.

The whole ambience was lovely from the time of arrival, right throughout our stay with Amaya. Our room and the facilities were very good. We paid b&b only but had dinner buffet each night which gave us plenty of options. We had an extremely good waiter, called Nipun who looked after us. He was so attentive and was extremely good at his job. Overall lovely stay and experience.
