Staying at Peacock Guesthouse was an experience on its own! It is a piece of a medieval fairytale brought into the modern world. Not only you feel the history everywhere, but also the artistry of Bhaktapur craftsmen: the wood-carved windows overlooking the oldest square of the town and the temple, the wooden artifacts in the cute courtyard, the craftsman himself working next to the restaurant…. We marveled every minute of our stay there, we tasted a good amount of their great food and we spent literally hours observing this lively town from our windows… If you are in Bhaktapur and you like living in history and art, look no further.

This hotel is phenomenal!!! They have almost everything! The room has balcony, facing the Himalayas view. Clean and comfortable. Bathroom has hot shower. I love their facilities, we play pool table, ping-pong. The dining place is so warm, breakfast and dinner very good. I like the hotel staffs. Friendly and helpful. Always smile :) Luxury. Quality. Very beautiful building in the heart of Bhaktapur. The room was in perfect conditions, super comfortable with ideal location.

Lovely view overlooking the mountain. Well maintained compared to other properties out there. We walked past many other properties and this seemed the best one we saw by a considerable amount. Food prices were reasonable considering there were no other suitable options nearby. Room was lovely. Staff were nice and attentive. My room was ready and they let me check in early. Great view of sunrise by going up onto their top terrace , although you can see it from your room. Short walk to village if you need anything . Just a few hundred metres.
