Beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the lake (the view is unbeatable). Excellent restaurant and delicious breakfast. The town and lake offer a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. Wonderful breakfast buffet and an excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner meals (note the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). Its a few minutes' walk to the Cathedral, the lake and lot of shops and restaurants. Easy parking on site. Family owned and operated. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating to our needs.

Occupying a historical building and renovated in 2015, ulmenhof-gosau.at is located in Gosau. Hornspitz Ski Lift is 3 km from the property. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. The stop of the free ski bus is nearby. Fully equipped kitchen, spacious master bedroom and the apartment fits 5 of us nicely! The second room is smaller but fits a single bed and a bunk bed. Only one toilet but it was huge. The extra balcony with the Mountain View for this unit in particular was something we appreciated very much as we spent our breakfast mornings in that area daily. It was a nice time spent bonding with our young adults as they helped to prepare meals and breakfast. The supermarket is also just a 2 minute walk away. It is only about 30 minutes drive to Hallstatt and 1.5 hours drive to Salzburg. We really loved this property as it fit our purpose to come back and cook a nice hot meal and chill in the lounge area after a long day out. We discovered Gosausee only on the last day and it is only 7 minutes drive from Der Ulmenhof. What a stunning lake surrounded by mountains and many walking trails. I would love to come back and stay in this property just to go on those trails and come back to home cooked meals at Der Ulmenhof.

Located in Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting and only 22 km from Wels Exhibition Centre, Gästehaus Watschinger provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can make use of a garden. The overall stay exceeded our expectations. We travelled with a 10 m+ and a 5 y old and the Gastehaus was excellent for our family. The owners are very kind people, doing everything to make your stay comfortable. They provided us with a kettle for the baby, extra diaper bin, helped with info etc. Breakfast was lovely, room was big enough for a family of 4, big bathroom, comfortable beds, spotless clean! Spacious parking as well. The gasthaus is near right next to the main road so you can t move anywhere without a car so better to keep that in mind. It’s about 25 min drive to Attersee lake, about 35 to Mondsee lake. You can go on foot only to have a walk near the river nearby. All in all, a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

Only reachable by cable car, Lodge am Krippenstein is located on the Krippenstein Mountain, at 2,063 metres above sea level and just a 2-minute walk from the mountain station of the Dachstein-Krippenstein Cable Car. Opened in 2015, Das Franzl - Bett & Brot is 800 metres from the shore of Lake Wolfgang, where guests can use a lake access with a sunbathing lawn. A small alpaca farm is also on site, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. The hosts are very friendly. We feel very much welcomed. The room is clean with big bathroom. Decoration of the room is very creative. Balcony with view. Good breakfast. My child enjoyed the stay so much that he asked for stay in the same place for next family trip.

An incredibly cozy home with a simply breathtaking view of the mountains. But the real treasure of this place is its hostess! Incredibly sweet and friendly, she made our stay truly special.
