Family run business, very friendly and full of information about the island. We also hired a car through George the owner it was a very low price compared to major car hire companies. Rooms were clean and large plenty of room. Good size kitchen if you want to cook. Very good location easy walk only 3 kilometres to very busy Chios Port. Great to come home to quiet hotel location. Go for a stroll along the water's edge was beautiful at night. Great location for fresh food butcher cake shop and coffee plus fabulous grocery store with fresh produce and there are 2 large delicatessens and grocery store not far up the road. I was travelling alone and I'm so grateful that I stayed here. I felt so comfortable that I did not feel like I was staying at a hotel. Only 100 metres from Bella Vista Beach and 1 km from Chios Town, the Grecian Castle offers year-round accommodation in elegant rooms. An outdoor pool with spacious sunbathing terrace is featured on site. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the main building. We had a fantastic stay at the hotel, it was one of my best experiences for a beach vacation. The hotel is situated close to the city centre, a 15 minute walk to shops and restaurants. There is a beach closeby with free sunbeds, while you should also enjoy other beaches that are a short taxi ride like Karfas Beach or Glaroi beach, both cost 15 euros one way. What we enjoyed the most about the hotel was the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, they made the experience much better. They were always open to help and very hospitable. The rooms were cleaned every day, towels were changed every day. I am thankful that the cleaning staff even airconditioned the room before we arrived from the beach every day :) We had a package including breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was great, everything you need is there. Dinners included one tapas, one salad, two main courses and dessert for two people. Every meal we had were absolutely top-notch, there was nothing we did not like. We got to experience some very good Greek meals throughout the stay. The hotel buildings are beautiful and historical, very picturesque. I think our 5-night stay was absolutely worth the price and we regretted not booking a longer vacation. Thank you so much for everything and for all your hospitality, we will make sure to recommend this hotel to our friends who want to visit Chios!
