The room was very clean, staff were excellent and the pool area was great to relax by. Location was great because it’s not in the main town so wasn’t as loud and busy. Free Wi-Fi is provided in public areas. It was a supper clean room. Very nice and helpful staff and owner! Close to the beach and bus stops and ferry. Breakfast was great. All together was a 10 for me.

Aegeon Hotel enjoys a prime waterfront location in the centre of Mylopotas Beach in Ios.It features a swimming pool with hydromassage jets and a pool bar. Continental breakfast is served in the morning. Me and my partner spent 8 nights at this lovely hotel. On arrival we met with the owner Nikos who was very friendly and welcoming he checked us in to our room and said he could give us another room the next day, with views of the pool and sea, we were not disappointed the views were beautiful. It was my partners 50th Birthday while we were there so I asked Nikos and his son Costas if there was anything they could do the morning of his Birthday. Again we were not disappointed, Costas knocked on our door at 10am the time I asked for with breakfast, coffee and Prosecco we sat out on the balcony and enjoyed the views while we tucked in. We also asked if we could have a kettle in our room Nikos went and got us one straight away. The hotel was immaculate, the room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and they even left a love heart 🫶 on the bed with petals after we had left for the day of my partners birthday which we thought was a lovely touch. Nothing was too much for the owners we have never felt so welcomed in a hotel and we will definitely be back next year that's for sure. Yialos Ios Hotel is located within 300 metres of the port and right next to the medical centre. You can wander through the capital's streets to find shops, a wide selection of bars, restaurants and night-spots. You could also visit Panaghia Gremiotissa, the highest spot in the town. Arrive during the day for excellent views, or watch the sun go down for romantic and beautiful orange skies. Everything. Our hot tub with our room, the hotel owners/staff were awesome, right close the the port, pool/amenities fabulous and the breakfasts were exactly the kind of delight to get you going for a Day on the island.

When I told him the mattress was too firm for me, within a few hours, he installed a memory foam mattress top that solved the issue. I'm thankful for that gesture.
