Super accommodating staff. I arrived late at night due to some complications with the trains due to bad weather. I contacted the owner who was so kind to pick me up at the station at 10:30pm. The baths are wonderful, it feels like you have your small onsen to yourself. Although the weather was foggy and cloudy while I was in Aso, I had a great and memorable time, also thanks to Asobe.

Beautiful hotel surrounded by nature. Room was stylish and spacious, looking out into a private garden. There was a private outdoor onsen connected to the room as well. The locally sourced food was amazing and served in a private room with a garden view. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Various English explanations for the course menu, hotel and surrounding area. Free parking.

The room was fantastic, clean, large, beautiful view from the window. Breakfast was great, staff were nice. Had all the necessary facilities. Great Hotel.

A beautiful and tranquil setting. The room and the onsens were lovely and well presented. The staff were so nice and friendly and the food was great! Would highly recommend and will definitely return.
