The location of the ryokan is fantastic - very close to the station (Yamanote line), right next to a convenience store and a very nice riverside park. The staff is very friendly and the ryokan was extremely clean and well maintained, the tatami smelled brand new and the room had a very pleasant fresh wooden smell to it. This might become my new go-to place to stay in Tokyo.

It was super lovely! The facility is good. The house is cute and clean. Everything was new and stylish! The bed was sooo comfortable as well! Highly recommend for a group of 6 people for a comfy stay. I would definitely return here again

I've never enjoyed a hotel stay more in my life than I did at cyashitsu. The staff are kind, warm, communicative, and supportive and we greatly enjoyed chatting with them (especially Taiga) throughout our stay. The open-air bath is fantastic and very convenient as I cannot go to most onsens due to being tattooed. The ryokan is a few minutes walk from the great Sensoji temple, which is a beautiful structure that is a must-see for Tokyo tourists. The breakfast service introduces you to new foods while still having some familiar and easy-to-eat items (great rice and lovely miso soup). I will cherish my memory of cyashitsu for a very long time.

The location was very good - only a short walk to Oshiage station and easy access to local buses. It was quite spacious. In fact, it can sleep up to 6 people and there were only 3 of us. The washing machine was handy. Other facilities (microwave oven, fridge) were good.

We loved EVERYTHING about our stay. We can’t thank the host enough for ALL her help and dedication to make our stay nothing but amazing!!! The location couldn’t be more perfect. To get to the main spots in Asakusa it was just a short walk which happened to be a fun leisure adventure across the bridge, which helped us enjoy the culture Asakusa had to offer. We’re a family of 4 so having the extra bathrooms and bed space for everyone was really nice. There’s even an elevator from the first floor to send your luggage to each room so you don’t have to carry it up the steps. The balcony was peaceful and a nice place to decompress at the end of the day. All toiletries imaginable were provided. Vending machines super close by and lawson and 711 just around the corner. Hubby and I snuck away to a cute little bar called Gossip near by we really enjoyed too. We’re from Alaska and planned this trip for years. I couldn’t have been more happy with our stay and the hosts commitment to making sure everything was just right.. If we ever make it back we’ll for sure be staying here again. Thanks for everything really appreciate it
