From the moment we walked in we felt at home. We got hopelessly lost, a 3.5 hour journey took us 7.5 hours (don't trust google maps!!). But when we got close (with 2% left on my phone so couldn't call) a lovely man called for us and we were met. If you want exciting night life, this is not the place for you. If, like us, you want to relax, really kick back and enjoy being surrounded by mountains, and appreciate the amazing hospitality of Albanian people, then you will love it here. The local history is also fascinating. I'd go back tomorrow if I could. 💖

The apartment is exactly as it shows in the photos. It was perfectly clean, super comfortable and very well equipped. Perfect for a group of six people. We were a group of seven and missing a bed, but our host made everything to fix the situation. Great location to explore Gjirokaster and other must sees in the region. Our hosts were super kind, making us feel at home. I would definitely recommend this apartment!

Absolutely exceptional stay, truly the best apartment we’ve had in Albania (and we’ve stayed in many)! Located just a little outside the historic centre of Gjirokastër, this place offered the perfect mix of peace, stunning views of the mountains and the city, while still being close to everything (especially ideal if you have a car). The apartment is on the ground floor, and on the first floor lives the owner who was simply an incredible host from beginning to end. He gave us tips on the best places to eat and visit, was always available to help with anything we needed, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome (at one point even bringing us food made by his aunt!). We genuinely felt safe, supported and cared for during our entire stay. The property itself had everything: a large living room, lovely bedroom, spotless bathroom, AC, hairdryer, fully-equipped kitchen area, secure parking, a jacuzzi (which we didn’t have time to use but looked amazing), and even fresh fruit and bottles of water waiting for us on arrival! The surroundings were magical and peaceful, with cute cats wandering around the property, and unbeatable views. If you want to stay somewhere beautiful, quiet, authentic and still be minutes away from Gjirokastër’s centre, this is the perfect choice. 5 stars without a doubt, we will absolutely recommend it to everyone!

The house is from 1820 with amazing atmosphere. Very good view from the first floor. Large rooms so you have enough space. There is beautiful place in front of the house with outside seating. Accomodation is very close from the centre and close from the castle. Owner was very friendly. We were accomodated within 10 minutes even without prior booking.

We were welcomed by the very friendly hosts! This apartment was perfect for the 3 of us for 1 night! We parked at the property. The fold out bed and the two single bed was super comfortable! Close to local shops. The host daughter spoke fantastic English who gave us amazing recommendations of the easier roads to take and where to park in the city center to visit the castle ! Felamendir!
