Simon is an amazing host . He picked us from airport and showed us around the island. We didn’t hire a car so without him it would be so hard to get around the island. He’s also very knowledgeable about the island . We’ve went on a ride and he talked about each village, some famous for crab , some famous for rugby players.

Super Location to enjoy the beach and explore the island. Niki is extremely welcoming and helped us with everything. We wish to come back sometime.

Surrounded by lush coconut trees, the entire house exudes a peaceful charm. One of the highlights of our stay was the close proximity to the beach—just a short walk away. It’s hands down one of the best beaches we’ve ever visited, with pristine sands and crystal-clear waters that made every moment there magical. The house is fantastic—spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped to provide a cozy and comfortable experience. The cool sea breeze and the thoughtful layout of the house ensured we were always comfortable. It’s clear that Vaa and Joliene have put great effort into making Are Kapakapa a home away from home for their guests. Another highlight of our stay was exploring the fruit trees around the property. The coconuts were a delightful treat, perfect for a refreshing snack after spending time at the beach. Every aspect of Are Kapakapa reflects the love and effort that Vaa and Joliene pour into their hospitality. Maggie and Dylan were very warm and welcoming hosts. The house was new, modern, clean and comfortable, as a bonus it comes with a cat (has to stay outside though.) A very short walk to Koru Cafe and The Boat shed Bar and Restaurant for all your dietary requirements. Basically on the shore of the lagoon for swimming and water activities. Will definitely stay again in the future 10/10. Meitaki atupaka

Would give it a million stars if I could! The accomodation is great, steps from a beach with a lovely sunset, the hosts are beyond wonderful and will make sure everything is stress free. Book the lagoon cruise with Kii! Highlight of our trip.

Simply superb. Fantastic hosts. Well equipped with all mod cons. Location is outstanding, balcony with view onto beach, hammock, sunbeds and kayak all provided for exclusive use.

Location was excellent Extremely helpful staff who went out of their way to welcome you and help you enjoy a lovely holiday in their very comfortable and spacious triple bedroom with excellent cooking facilities and large fridge and microwave.The sea was 15 metres away. Definitely come back again.
