We were welcomed by the owner, we received all the informations regarding the check-in/check-out. The room was ver very pleasant, the room is well equipped a very cosy. There is a mini starter kit (coffee, soap, biscuits, cereals, milk, sponge, etc..) and everything you need to cook. The bathroom was very clean and soaps from the shetlands are provided. The view is stunning. And the beds are so comfortable, it is like sleeping on a cloud. It was easy to park in front of the hotel. It is easy to find from the ferry and there is pub/restaurant a few minutes away. Perfect stay !

Everything! This is an outstanding place to stay. Warm ,clean and stylish. A great deal of thought has gone into making this a superb place to stay. The laundry pod was a godsend- two tumble dryers, washing machine and somewhere to hang washing inside. We loved it! St Ninians Isle with tómbolo and sauna were very close and such a treat! Really great swimming beach.

Roadside Cottage is situated in Sandwick. The property has sea and garden views. Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home.

What a wonderful holiday. Niki and Piet were wonderful hosts and couldn't have been more accommodating - our questions were answered quickly and they were very flexible when it looked like our plans needed to change. We had a lovely warm welcome from Voortrekker. The scenary was beautiful with a wonderful view of the ocean and lots of wildlife and birds on our back doorstep. As a bonus there is a sauna and a hot tub
