We had an incredible stay. The place exceeded our expectations in every way. Immaculately clean, stylishly decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. The comfy bed and plush towels were a lovely touch. The host was fantastic - communicative and helpful The location was ideal, within walking distance to local attractions

We absolutely loved our stay at Home on the Nile. We stayed for four nights. The view from the balcony is just amazing. The owner, David, was very friendly and helpful. He gave us plenty of useful recommendations for things to do in Jinja. The staff were all incredible. Hope provided us with fantastic service every morning. She even learned off our breakfast orders. The food was incredible too. Some of the best food we had in Uganda. Jessica made us lovely cocktails every night too. Great service all round. Also really appreciated the French press coffee in the room.

    Lovely small villa with great views on the Nile, we felt welcome and safe and it was great to wake up to such beautiful landscape. We also loved the fact we could cook by ourselves - after a couple of weeks on the road and therefore always eating in bars or restaurants it was great to have some of our own comfort food, and the kitchen is perfectly equipped for cooking.

    Everything. Close to town. Good quality furniture and kitchenware. Good hot water. Very cozy. Neighbourhood is lovely. Just perfect for us. Boda boda very cheap to town but it’s only ten minutes on foot. Location is perfect. Bed very comfortable. Mosquito nets on windows a big plus.

    Isaac was a great host, met us on arrival at the gates and showed us around the beautiful property. The property was lovely and had great amenities. The view from the veranda was stunning and the pool was great. We took all our own food and drinks and cooked in the kitchen, which is well stocked with pans, crockery, cutlery, and utensils, but you can also order food. We did tubing on the Nile which was brilliant and were collected from and returned to the property.

    We were a group of 8 people, rented both cottages on the property and had the entire place to ourselves. Cottages are well-equipped, we brought our own food and comfortably stayed for two days fully self-catering. Two barbeque facilities and a fire pit, all overlooking the river Nile. Comfortable beds. Hot water. Birds everywhere. Lovely swimming pool. Foot path leading down to the river. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Will definitely stay again!
