I cannot say enough good things about this hostel. It was the friendliest environment, and was in the best location for hiking all around the Jungfrau region. All the staff and volunteers made you feel right at home, and kept the facility very clean. The food at breakfast and dinner was delicious, especially the pizza. My friend and I were always so excited to come back to the cozy hostel after long hiking days to eat good food and hang out in the lobby. Special shoutout to Levi, Fermin, Cody, and Lindsey for being so friendly to us!!

The apartment is cozy and the beds are very comfy. You can cook your own meals if you are saving some money, they have all the amenities needed (even a foundue set!) as well as some spices and oil. The view is as amazing as it gets in Lauterbrunnen. There is self checkin and checkout so I didn't have the pleasure of meeting the hosts but they were nice and accommodating vía text.

House host is very nice, thoughtful and friendly. Great communication, lovely apartment and beautiful trail near by the property. The only tiny thing is wifi password is toooooooo long to type. Besides that, it just feels like another home. Many thanks for sharing such a wonderful house with visitors.

Everything. The carefree village. The magnificent 50s and 60s Swiss design furniture. The sweet, always ready to help staff. The excellent and varied breakfast fare. Freshly prepared eggs.. The location on the edge of the village, only 5 minutes from some very nice (read good food) restaurants. Well worth paying a bit more for a Mountain View balcony room. That made our stay amazing - we appreciated all the different skies on and over the superb mountains with their glaciers- blue sky, dotted with clouds, low and slate coloured rain clouds, totally submerged by cotton ball clouds coming and going into the valley.
