New and modern facilities. Nice and spacious lobby area. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast and spacious dining area. 10 to 15 minutes walk from Bad Ischl station to the hotel. A point to note is the aircon in the room will only work if all its windows are open.

THis facility is EXCELLENT!!! What a dream of a place to relax and vacation. Mother Nature provided rain for many days but we were comfortable, well taken are of and enjoyed the clean indoor pool and sauna. Gorgeous grounds, fantastic breakfast and afternoon "Kaffee und Kuchen" with delights backed by Margareta (the owner) herself. This is a family operated hotel and restaurant and we were truly spoiled. They all went above and beyond helping us (when our rental car would not start), catered to our needs for our 93 year old mother and were always kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the property called the Mostschenke im Heustadl and provides a five star Austrian experience in dining. The family has been on this property since the 1600's and have up-dated and built the hotel in the last ten - twelve years. The Mostschenke is the renovated cattle barn and it a delightful venue for dining. The Hotel is clean, bright and the two bedroom chalet suite is a dream for a family vacation. Amazing place with so many things to do right onsite for pre or post-skiing time. Billiards, a pool, ping pong, a bowling alley! We loved it. Just 15 minutes to the less-crowded Hauser Kaibling mountain of Schladming. Breakfast was very good with fresh bread each morning! Great places nearby such as Haeuserl im Wald with their own curling rink.
