The hotel is charming - a little bit 70s but I mean this in a good way. A little bit The Shining maybe. The pool is genuinely fun and there is some gym equipment, sauna, jacuzzi , table tennis all included in the price of your stay. The pool closes at 7pm I think. The breakfast buffet is generous. An awful lot of cake which isn’t really my thing in the morning but feels plentiful. There are also the standard hotel scrambled eggs, cheap sausages, yoghurts, pancakes, fruit etc. They attempted to accommodate my coeliac daughter with gluten free crackers and biscuits. The views from the bar and restaurant are spectacular. And the resident old dog is really lovely. The reception staff are not exactly bubbly but warm up eventually . I quite like a somber welcome; makes the whole place seem even more atmospheric.

Breakfast was great, including the coffee and pastries. Rooftop jacuzzi was amazing. The room is a good size and the bathroom was fantastic. The little balcony seating area and the view was great too.

Simply one of the best experiences we’ve had in our France travels so far. The hosts are an amazing and friendly pair and cater to any need you may have. The home is impeccable, comfortable, and so very relaxing. You must try the hot bath and sauna while you’re there! Just wonderful. We are already looking forward to our next opportunity to visit!

    The property is in a beautiful old part of Les Angles, had everything you could need and was easily big enough for a family of 4 with 2 beds spare. There’s a lovely small garden area with brilliant views at lunch and we even managed a barbecue one evening. Importantly, it was an easy 10 minute walk to the chair lift and we found some great restaurants in town. Highly recommend.
