There is everything you need in this hotel. It is clean and has great facilities. The pool is not large but the water is hot and the showers are spacious. It can be crowed at certain times of the day but otherwise it is a great activity to have within the hotel. Same for the gym. The rooms are perfect and have a balcony. The staff is friendly and helpful. As for the breakfast, I rate it five stars as it has a great selection of everything. I liked the bar area and the restaurant as well. All in all, this hotel offers great value for money and nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend.

The very nice and helpful owner explained that he and his wife bought the Chateau de Rancé (14th century) less than a year ago and that it had required substantial renovation. The building is being restored to its former glory using authentic furnishings and decoration, and the result is impressive. We experienced a chandelier and gilt-framed period pictures with a sculpted ceiling in the bedroom, but a modern, and spacious bathroom facility. Air conditioning is installed but we didn't use it. The breakfast was very good with some excellent bakery produced the same morning by the owner's wife. We shall return!

    Fantastic hotel that was almost perfect. The rooms were and felt very spacious, very well insulated and very clean. The bed was great! Amazing shower, everything just also looked beautiful. If you like modern hotels this is great! We also booked an hour in the spa, which I definitely recommend! So beautiful and great sauna, hammam and cooling down options, also a hottub. This is a great hotel with a luxurious feel to it.
