The grounds of the hotel were immaculate and very well cared for. The reception staff were very friendly and polite and our room was as expected. The reception area had comfortable seating and allowed for drinks to be served from the bar. The breakfast was excellent with nothing missing except a selection of alternate teas (fruit) to avoid having to request this from staff.

Just 1 mile from Whitchurch, the Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel boasts 2 18-hole golf courses and a restaurant. The leisure centre has a pool, gym and a nail bar.

The property is absolutely beautiful, we booked it for a friends birthday and it was everything and more, the hot tub was amazing, the whole barn was just beautiful inside and out, couldn’t recommend it anymore! Will definitely be returning. Even helped us out in the morning with a jumpstart because one of our cars wouldn’t start!! Extremely friendly hosts and unbelievably kind.
