Absolutely fantastic from beginning to end, was only here for one night and we have all agreed we cannot wait to come back again. Cottage was warm upon arrival and spotless. Hot tub was ready and warm when we arrived. Had everything you need and more, if you are looking for a good escape and love waking up to the countryside, then this is a an absolute gem. The breakfast was great, food, staff and dining room was extremely pleasant. I’d been wanting to stay at Shrigley for years and my stay exceeded my expectations. The room with the view overlooking the front was amazing and I particularly enjoyed and appreciated the original features and history of the building it has a real Downton Abbey feel to it.
