I am still under a pleasant impression of my stay at the hotel. It is a beautiful building, which is 150 years old. We were checked in a little early, which was nice. The separate lobby and restaurants are beautiful, and the rooms are modern and tasteful. Very nice and polite staff at the reception and restaurants. A pleasant atmosphere with peacocks is created outside. The food was very tasty, especially the steak. We were allowed to order from the restaurant when we were sitting at the bar, because you need to book dinner in advance. But the desserts were very mediocre. The only thing I didn’t like was that we couldn’t book a massage at the spa even a few days in advance.

This property is a Georgian Country House Hotel. Guests can enjoy a delicious afternoon tea, stroll through 12 acres of gardens, and relax by the main leisure pool.

Sopwell House Hotel is an exceptional hotel with an even more exceptional personnel who would do anything to make your stay as best as can be. The friendliness but nonetheless professional attitude of each and every associate we came across with, made our stay even nicer. Really friendly and helpful staff. I liked the old style and the relaxing environment. There's a nice bar a restaurant. Gym, Pool, sauna and steam bath included in the close by facility. We really enjoyed our stay.

I did not eat or partake in any of the excellent activities on offer at Champneys. I really enjoyed the setting of the hotel. Peaceful and serene. Outstanding for just wandering around the grounds. The room was comfy and the toilet was of good size.
