The best thing about this small boutique hotel is Lucca, the man who runs it. He is so helpful and accommodating. The rooms are very clean, and the breakfast is very good. There is a lot of outdoor seating with umbrellas for either very sunny or inclement weather. It is located a few meters outside of the main town center. Most of all, there is free on-site parking, which, if you have ever been in Pienza, is great, as parking is at a premium here. There is also a pool that is very clean with crystal clear water.

B&B Il Giglio's classic Tuscan rooms are set in a Renaissance building in the historic center of Pienza. They feature terracotta floors, period furniture, and exposed wood-beamed ceilings.

The location was perfect- right in the center. A lot of care and thought was put into this place- from the decor, to the cleanliness, to useful info posted on what to do and where to go. Roberta was gracious, accommodating and patient- we were late arriving and decided last minute to book the spa after dinner. She gave us wonderful recommendations and was so kind.I wish we could have stayed for a week. The perfect getaway.
