We stayed only for 1 night at the beggining on October, but it was a great time spent here. The place is cozy, also very private, have beautiful suroundings and nice staff. Restaurant was also amazing. Also very convenient if you would like to visit Florence, because it's not far, 30 minutes by car.

Rooms were beautiful and immaculate, beautifully designed. The hotel itself was beautiful and with perfect Tuscany charm. Enjoying river view at every breakfast and sunset at dinner are perfect ways to start the day and wind down after a day of touring. Breakfast was good and the hotel prepared fresh fruit juices every morning and brought them to the table specifically for the guests (unlike some where fruit juices were just produced in bulk and placed on buffet bar table). Staff were attentive and joyful - happy staff happy place! Prior to our arrival we requested the hotel to make a few restaurant reservations and we were presented with a professionally prepared typed up letter with details of all the reservations. These are the little details that differentiate a true five star hotel from a mediocre one. We loved the place so much and it's by far one of the best 5 stars hotel we've stayed at.

Hotel was beautiful and had many amenities. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was excellent with many choices. The room was spacious with antique furniture. The bed was comfortable.

La Gemma has a fantastic location, literally 2min walk from many of the main sights. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful - making us feel cherished and right at home. The design of the hotel and rooms is gorgeous, while being practical; and I like the attention to detail. Will definitely be back!

Very good location with supermarket, restaurants and bus stop just a few minutes walking. Very nice staff and free SPA. It is also not far away from central market where you could try fresh and tasty local food. Even though near main road no noise at all during night.
