All in all it is a very nice place to stay close to the station. The spa area even provides a small relaxation area which is not common in Japan.

Excellent stay! The hotel is ideal for relaxing and unwinding after a full day of sightseeing. The atmosphere, the tatami floors, the onsen, complimentary snacks/drinks, the massage chairs etc., etc. all work together so that it is easy to feel rested and ready for the next day of activities. Convenient laundry facilities, never had to wait more than a few minutes until a washing machine was available. Good location close to the station.

Everything was beyond expectation. The staff are all extremely thoughtful and helpful. Yuko-san helped to book the most incredible kaiseki dinner at a local restaurant for us. The bed was soo comfortable and the amenities were amazing. Ask to borrow the foot massagers. Very helpful after a long day of walking.

Loved everything! Sooo conveniently located. Lots of bus routes and trains. The Shinkansen station is also there. Very big room and bathroom. Amazing water pressure and water is hot instantly. Such good showers ahhhh. Also love the PJs they give and if you need anything, a robot will deliver it to your room. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic as well. I’m so sad to be leaving this hotel!

Such a beautiful well kept property. The staff were very courteous and spoke English well! We were greeted with a tea and snack upon arrival while they. explained the amenities to us. They took our shoes and bags and stored them as well. There was a variety of drinks and snacks available in the common room, which they encouraged us to use as an area to socialize outside our rooms. There was also a happy hour service, were they served sparkling wine and whiskey. They provided yukatas that we could wear into the common area and night wear for use in our rooms. The baths were prepared for us before our arrival and felt amazing after lots of walking in Kyoto. I wish we stayed for more nights here! Will definitely come back next time we’re in the area. Did I mention they also have a gelateria that is discounted and available to guests until 10pm!
