Bakers cottage was a stop for us as we were making our way back to Colombo. Accommodation was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Family were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good with fruits from the garden and some local Sri Lankan dishes. The mattress was a little bit hard for us, but this is likely to be replaced as the family noted this. Location on Kosgoda beach meant a lovely sunset. Swimming options further up the beach or a short tuk tuk drive away. A few restaurants nearby, local and tourist and more options not to far away by tuk tuk

This is a brand new hotel - we were the first guests in one of the rooms. Our experience was really great: The room was clean and the bathroom with the outdoor shower is a highlight. It is only a 3 min walk from the hotel to the beautiful beach and a turtle hatchery. The pool of the hotel is really big and the body treatments which we received were excellent. We also enjoyed the food, both breakfast and dinner. We highly recommend this hotel also because of the hosts who have shown great hospitality and flexibility to adapt to the needs of our family. Peaceful hotel nicely located between 2 beautiful beaches that are completely different feels than usual sri Lankan pretty crowded beaches. Staff is really nice and helpful, massages are amazing, pool is clean as it’s everything. Truly recommend this place you won’t regret it.

This three days have been perfect! The whole team is so friendly, kind, helpful and they like to have a chat with you, if you want to. the kitchen did a fantastic job! the breakfast and also the dinner was amazing! one morning, in front of our hotel, there were fishermans fishing. We bought a fish from them and the chef cooked it on the evening for us. Great experience! the hotel, room, pool and beach is very nice. great to spend time there.

We absolutely loved staying here for 3 days! You will live in a wonderful garden with an amazing pool view. The hosts and the staff are extremely helpful and will make everything to create a cozy atmosphere for you. Nelson is a great chef indeed.We had a delicious dinner prepared by him. The place is in 5 minutes distance from the beautiful Bentota beach. Highly recommended!

The location is perfect, just few meters to the beach and very close to many restaurants. The room was very nice, very clean and with AC and hot water, which was perfect. The guy and the woman were very nice and friendly people, helping in everything we could need and more. And then the breakfast was very good, the best one we had in all the travel around Sri Lanka.

A beautiful property in quiet surroundings, serving delicious food with warmth. We loved our spacious rooms, comfortable beds and roofless showers. The vast beach is a 10 min walk away, and the train station, 5 min. Will definitely return again and stay longer!
