Very high standard hotel Excellent pool Hotel is located in a tea plantation with a lovely and relaxing view The rooms are very very clean. The food is delicious and very fresh. Everything is organized There is a lot to explore in the area. The staff and hotel manager are intelligent and nice people, happy to help with anything you need and all with a big smile. We had a birthday for our child The hotel helped us make him happy and feel good The hotel owner made an amazing cake that made our hearts happy. Highly recommend to anyone who wants high standard rooms in the middle of nature To come to the hotel We had a great time, thank you very much.

My husband and I spent four amazing nights at Celestial Hills in Kandy for our honeymoon, and I can honestly say it was the most magical place we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into a hidden paradise. We stayed in one of their beautiful villas, and the staff made sure we felt like royalty the entire time. Every night, they decorated our room in a different, special way, knowing we were there for our honeymoon. On Diwali, they truly went above and beyond—lighting candles, creating a stunning Ganesha on our bed with flowers, and leaving a mixture of Indian and Sri Lankan sweets for us. This thoughtful touch meant so much, especially as it was our first Diwali away from home. The villa itself was stunning—spacious with incredible views of the valley and sunrise. Every morning, we woke up to a breathtaking view, watching the sky change from purple to orange. It was like something out of a nature documentary, only better because we were there to experience it firsthand. Our private pool and large balcony made it even more special—we had breakfast there most mornings, taking in the serene atmosphere. Leaving each day for sightseeing felt like we were leaving heaven, but returning in the evening always felt like coming back to it. The service at Celestial Hills is by far the best I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve traveled quite a bit. From the moment we arrived, Andrew, the resident manager, welcomed us with pineapple achar and tea. Throughout our stay, he stayed in contact via WhatsApp, making sure we had everything we needed. No matter what we asked for, it was brought to us within minutes. Andrew truly went out of his way to make our stay perfect. Everyone we met was so warm and welcoming, it didn’t even feel like we were at a hotel—it felt like we were staying with family. The chefs, in particular, were incredible.

Mahesh and his family are genuinely kind, warm and hospitable people. They welcomed us with open arms, cooked for (with) us and were assisting us at every turn. This home stay is located just a short walk from town and has a STUNNING view of Kandy. If you want a genuine home stay with a beautiful local family and some stunning home cooked meals - stay here!

A very luxurious experience consisting of ayurvedic spa treatments, great meals, helpful & kind staff, morning walk thru through nature, a great cooking class. A nice place to unwind - definitely recommend for anyone seeking a zen experience while in the northern part of Sri Lanka.

Amazing small residence, so nicely wooden decorated, very well equipped, It is a large house on several levels. Staff is just lovely and discret. Food is tasty, fresh and very good for value. Rooms really confortable. Swimming pool is the thing you enjoy after a long day of visits. We just liked this place, as did our daughters in their 2 floors room.

The owner is absolutely amazing. He helps with everything. Do not organize plans alone. It's much better to ask him for advice. The house and equipment are better then it looks on photos. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Kandy home stay. Jaliya and Shama were the kindest hosts we’ve stayed in 3 months of travelling Sri Lanka. The house is absolutely immaculate and you have access to a wonderful balcony set in nature. The facilities are excellent and the highest standard we have experienced since leaving the U.K. I highly recommend visiting Kandy home stay.
