Room was amazing, the staff helped in staying back and keeping the restaurant open till my guests finish dinner and drinks.

When booking this Hotel I thought it looked nice, but that just do not do it justice. The welcome was perfect with an intro massage whilst checking in. The views from the reception are absolutely stunning set in an idyllic location. The staff were incredibly attentive, the room was exceptional with an in nature feel about it being so well positioned and overlooking the nature park. The only noises to hear were nature itself. Wonderful choices for food and drinks both local and international.

The serene location, exceptional service, and beautifully designed villas made our stay memorable. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of fresh and well-prepared options. The location was perfect for a relaxing retreat, offering stunning views and a peaceful environment.

My recent stay at Simpson’s Forest – Luxury Boutique Resort & Spa in Kandy was, without a doubt, one of the most incredible experiences I’ve had in Sri Lanka. Nestled amidst the lush greenery of Meenawatta Estate, the resort is a true sanctuary for those seeking tranquility, natural beauty, and heartfelt hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and care. A special thank you to Sachini (Front Office Executive) whose exceptional support throughout our stay made everything seamless. Her attention to detail and dedication to guest comfort truly elevated our entire experience. The design of the hotel strikes a perfect balance between elegance and nature. Surrounded by pristine landscapes, the property is immaculately maintained, with stunning gardens, flowering plants, and breathtaking mountain views in every direction. The air is fresh, the atmosphere peaceful—it’s the perfect escape from the busy world. One of the standout features of the resort is the infinity pool, offering a surreal experience as you swim above the forest canopy with panoramic views of the misty hills stretching endlessly beyond. I found myself returning to this spot every morning and evening—each moment more magical than the last. As part of their offering, the hotel provides a free guided tour around the surrounding area, which is a must. Walking through the tea gardens and forest paths, discovering the local flora and fauna, and soaking in the serene beauty of nature made me fall even more in love with this place. The restaurant deserves a five-star rating of its own. The food was consistently outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Special thanks to Yatawara for his incredible hospitality and service. He went above and beyond to make each meal a delight, and his warmth made every dining experience feel personal and memorable.

Beautiful, view, close to everything and great host! Delicious breakfast! Coffee could be stronger, but either way highly recommend!

Everything! It was the best hotel we were ever been to. The food was amazing, the stuff were great, the nature, the room, absolutely everything! We will return for sure!

Breakfast was very good and tastes nice. Staff was easily accessible and helpful. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Wash rooms are tidy and kept well. We ordered dinner in short notice and food was very delicious. Pool was a bonus and enjoyed.⁹
