All the hotel staff were exceptional, very helpful and friendly. A beautiful hotel with great facilities, very clean, and best breakfast we’ve had so far. They even accommodated us to have a very late check out and organised a taxi for us to take us to the night bus. 100% would come back here, if for the service alone.

Everything is perfect. Booked another night. Best hotel for my whole trip. Gorgeous view of Cusco city. Warm staff. Beautiful and modern big room. Great value for money price. Highly recommend to everyone who come to Cusco. Most important: it is so quiet to ensure your good sleep. Booked another hotel of a suite room near main square, it was too noisy to sleep, waste money.

The hotel boasts impressive interiors with antique exposed bricks, vaulted ceilings and sleek designer style furniture. Cusco’s cathedral and main square are only 3 blocks away.

Exceptional hotel. The breakfast is amazing, with so much choice. The staff are so friendly and kind, always on hand to assist. The food is top class, we ate there both evenings, the yakitori buffet was top class. The room was nice and spacious, with a big comfortable bed and a good shower. The location is brilliant, just a short walk to the main plaza. The hotel also offer some additional extras, we joined the pisco sour class, which was enjoyable. They also have an alpaca in the courtyard for breakfast.

Beautiful hotel with lovely courtyards. Staff very friendly and helpful. Oxygen on hand if needed. Also do currency exchange. Breakfast very nice in cosy room and self service tea,coffee and cocoa tea.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Spirit of the River Lodge! Nestled by the river, the lodge boasts incredible room designs and breathtaking window views that make you feel one with nature. Rodi’s tour of the Inca sites was nothing short of extraordinary—his passion and knowledge brought the history and spirit of the area to life. If you can, ask him to be your guide; you’ll gain so much insight and connection to the Sacred Valley! Claudia’s cooking was equally remarkable—each meal was a masterpiece filled with love and flavor. And, of course, we can’t forget Tupac, their adorable and friendly llama. Hugging him was such a unique and heartwarming experience! The lodge is a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and cultural immersion. To top it off, Rodi is beginning to organize Inca Trail tours with a big focus on ensuring porters are treated with the utmost care and respect. If you’re looking to explore one of the most unique places on Earth while supporting ethical practices, this is the place to start. We couldn’t recommend Spirit of the River Lodge more highly. Breakfast was great. Our room faced the square so very noisy during the night. Staff very helpful, professional and attended to our needs.

The staff were excellent. The property is very unique, beautiful and clean. Location was very good- accross the street from market and straight walk up to Cathedral. Just a short distance to take the bus to Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. The breakfrast was very good with many choices.
