After two years living in the Philippines, without hesitation, we can say that Cocogrove is our favorite place. Firstly, and most importantly, because for many years the hotel and its management have been proactively protecting the environment, including the coral reefs at two marine sanctuaries in front of the hotel and in Apo island ( one of the best places to respectfully interact with turtles) . Secondly, the hotel offers high quality while maintaining a traditional and beautiful Filipino style, giving us a sense of tranquility even when the hotel was fully booked. The staff are amazing how lovely and helpful they are. They make the stay feel welcome and enjoyable. The views are amazing and tranquil. The drive up the hill to the resort at night time is super fun and twisty. Hotel safe was fully operational and good size for laptop. The Hotel owners were super sweet and adorable and gave us a magical welcome. I’d go back again, just to be around the cheery owners!

What sets this place apart are the loveliest; friendliest and smiliest staff I have met - special thanks to Analyn, Alona, Ashly, Adonis, May-Ann, Jayzel, Shiela, Junie, Joel, Ednalyn and Ghabrielle. The room was very well appointed and spotless, the view from the balcony of the beach and sea were beautiful, the gardens and beach/pool and garden areas were kept immaculate. The view from the Sunset was breathtaking and the food first class.

What a great location, right on the sandy beach, Quiet, Safe, no dogs barking, no Kareoke, no smoke, no noisy neighbors. During our stay the Guests were mainly Couples & were all very respectful. We enjoyed our time here so much we extended and stayed for 11 Days. The Staff were Beautiful, Kind and Sweet, We really enjoyed the qaulity Food (Thank you to the Cooks & waitstaff) & we thank all of the Staff for their wonderful Hospitality. We were privileged to be able to meet the Owners and we thank them for making is feel so welcome and congratulate them on such a Great Business.

Cannot recommend this hotel enough - honestly have no idea what the negative reviews are talking about! Beautiful hotel with huge Teepee style rooms. Super comfortable four-poster superking beds with great AC and a killer view. Food was great (the smash burger was exceptional). Staff are very friendly and helpful. Also organised a scooter for the full duration of our stay.
