The breakfast was wonderful and there were gluten-free options available which I wasn't expecting. The location was terrific - a short walk from the train station and very close to other attractions.

Exceptional is the first word that comes to mind when thinking of this hotel, a hotel where I spent a total of 16 days. Service, location, breakfast and rooms were all of the highest calibre. A perfect holiday retreat with every wish addressed with a friendly smile and wonderful efficiency. Firstly, I must commend Gregor, the Golden Key concierge, who was truly phenomenal in going far beyond the call of duty in providing me with outstanding service. Kudos to him! The staff at reception (Tjasa, Yulih, Nina, Tim, Ana and Stas) were always ready to answer all my queries which made the stay so welcoming. Of course, breakfast was a truly extraordinary event each day with a wide array of food choices, all of the highest quality. Marko, Blaz, Bojan, Kana, Lucija and Neverna worked like a finely tuned engine in providing impeccable service and always with a smile. The porters (Tadej, Jernej and Vasja) were always so friendly and professional, making one feel like they were at home. Housekeeping (Mojca, Aziza and Ana) provided me with truly wonderful service. Thank you!

The apartment was amazing, comfortable and cozy and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped, and a cozy little terrace was nice. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet and not too busy. And everything is pretty much in walkable distance. Also the host was very friendly and helpful even before we arrived.
