So glad I found this place! Next time we come to the area, we’ll skip Patong and come straight here. Ko Racha Yai is less-developed and infinitely less crowded than any place on Phuket Island. For us, that was perfect. When you get to Ban Raya, it feels like you have the whole island to yourself. We liked everything about this place. First, it has outstanding customer service. The staff did everything possible to assure a perfect stay—especially a gent named Marboon. We picked a room near the ocean cove and the big infinity pool, which turned out to be ideal. Our bungalow had a large balcony. The main room was also large, as was the bed, as well as the bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable. Nice towels and bed sheets, and plenty of soft pillows. There’s great AC, a big TV, a sofa, and plenty of storage space. A large breakfast buffet was included and tasty, with good brewed coffee. The open-air restaurant offered excellent food for lunch and dinner. Ban Raya rents scooters and bicycles, and there’s a market and another restaurant short rides away. My girlfriend loved the on-site spa. Stay here. You’ll be glad you did.

It is a little slice of heaven. The room was clean and welcoming, and the host Galahad, was very helpful and a joy to speak to. Here you are a very short walk from Yanui Beach, and about 1km to Rawai Beach, an easy walk if you don't have luggage. You are away from the noise and bustle of the town, yet close enough to walk to it without much trouble.

We really liked Utopia Resort, and especially the very beautiful and large swimming pool with bridges and toboggans and also the swimming pool located on the roofs of the building . The restaurant is located on the roof of the building and it is very elegant, the food is very appetizing and the prices are good. It has a very diverse range of dishes to choose from. The apartments are two story, very new and modern, and also the buildings are brand new . If you want they will clean the apartment for you every day or you can choose not to be disturbed. We reached the beach or downtown in just 10 minutes by feet. The team was very professional, welcoming and helped us a lot, especially Blossom (Ran) to whom we thank a lot!! Thanks and we will return!!

Everything! This has been the best hotel experience. The check in, service and staff are amazing. The view is unbelievable and the rooms are just great. Breakfast is really good as well. You get a lof of extras (to go): different types of (cold brew) coffee, the best Thai tea we’ve ever had, etc. The beach is very beautiful as well and you can use complementary snorkeling gear. Our baby received his own toiletries (including an animal toothbrush he loved!) en in room dining for him (<24 months) is also complementary. All in all great and definitely worth the price!
