The staff took such good care of us from the moment we arrived, Suji, Jay and Sana especially, but everyone was so kind and helpful. They have a small van to easily drive you into town or to activities and to pick you up whenever you’re finished. Sana recommended several local activities and took us to beautiful photo spots. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the view of Lion Rock our bed was magical. There is a restaurant on site and the pool was refreshing after hiking up Lion Rock on a hot day. Seriously one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! 10/10

Some rooms feature a seating area to relax in after a busy day. All units include views of the garden. Rooms include a private bathroom equipped with a shower. Set in beautiful location, surrounded by jungle. Room was super clean. Breakfast amazing with different varieties such as eggs, fruit, coconut pancakes, big pot of good strong coffee and much more. It takes 3 minutes to walk to the main road. Restaurants and atm walking distance. Sigiriya rock again walking distance. Host was amazing, helpful and kind. I would definitely go back. We loved it there.

To enjoy Sri Lanka’s breathtaking natural landscapes, the hotel offers various excursions like mountain cycling excursions and lake safaris. The hotel is amazing. It has 3 amazing pools with a great view on the lake. It is surrounded by nature (and wild monkeys!!). The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Also the breakfast buffet is incredible. Finally, the staff is incredibly kind and professional. A special mention must go to Dulsha working in the Cafe Kachchan who made our stay all the more unique.

Very friendly and helpful staff who worked as a team to ensure our stay was exceptionally comfortable. The team went out of their way to accommodate our every wish. Good value for money. The all girls team was effective in creating a very quiet and calm atmosphere.

The place is really nice and the owner is very welcoming. He was available and gave great insight on what activities we should do. He spotted our traveler profile and advised us accordingly. At the hotel, you can grab some bikes and there is a cool trail around the nearby lake... The room was clean, bigger than expected, and comfortable. The food was good and they bake their berad onsite etc... You can't go wrong there.

The accommodation offers a spa centre. Tropicara Resort exceeded my expectations! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always going the extra mile. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, offering great comfort. The food was delicious, with fresh, flavorful dishes that I looked forward to every day. Overall, it’s a perfect combination of excellent service, quality rooms, and amazing food. Highly recommended!

Close to lions rock and the other things to do. Only 2 min Walking from restaurants. The homestay itself is very quite and the bed was amazing. We had the best sleep. The Family is amazing! They’re sooo sweet and help you with everything. The food is so tasty, she makes it herself and the taste is sooooo GOOD! You Will have the best food in the area at the homestay.
