The rooms were spotless, the ambiance was calming, and every little detail was taken care of. I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already planning my return. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a stay that blends luxury, comfort, and incredible service.

The area is popular for hiking and diving, and bike hire is available at this 3-star hotel. It was simply precious. Private , secluded area. The owners picked us up with a jeep, organized a jungle tour for us and gave us a ride as well. The family is incredibly hard working and polite, they try their best to accommodate our wishes. The food is amazing. No AC but it wasn't necessary as it was pretty cool at night.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Hillcrest. It‘s located in the quiet countryside up the hill of Weligama - just 5mins by TukTuk to the beach. The rooms are really spacious, clean and had everything and more that you could wish for! The main and pool area were also great, clean and overall the place had a nice view over Weligama. Definately recommend!

Stayed at this family-run guesthouse/hotel for one month. Zero issues. The room (with balcony overlooking a backyard) was spacious, clean and quiet. King size bed was comfortable and protected by a mosquito net. Really neat! Ample sized bathroom with hot/cold water. The fridge is in the common area downstairs. Room cleaning on demand. There's also a restaurant on premises that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The owners and staff are super friendly and accomodating. Can arrange a reasonably priced taxi wherever you might need to go. Any other questions and concerns are eagerly answered and helped with pronto. Very laid-back atmosphere overall. Right outside of the hotel on the main road there are two fruit stands, a masage salon and a couple of good mom&pop grocery stores. Easy access (3-5 min) to the ocean and Coconut Tree Hill. Mirissa Beach is a 13 minute walk. Evening/night time the area is pretty quiet as all nightlife happens ~2 km down the main road. Definitely worth the money!

Very nice place and friendly owner and family in the heart of the nature. Very close to the beach, 20 mins from Welligama by public transport. We stayed two more days because we enjoyed the place and the proximity from the beach. Definitely recommend to stay there! Very friendly and funny dogs too :)

À la carte and continental breakfast options with warm dishes, local specialities and champagne are available. There is a coffee shop, and packed lunches are also available. Chathu was a very warm and friendly host and we felt so welcome and safe at Plantation. It’s conveniently located at Midigama just a short 5-7 minute drive to most of the cafes and nightlife at Ahangama. The room was really clean and comfortable. We were easily able to rent a scooter from the property and Chathu recommended us some routes to explore. We will definitely be back next time we are in Midigama.
