The decor, the staff, the atmosphere, the situation, the facilities and the hotel dog 😎. The owner of the hotel even arranged a tv screen for us to watch the Six Nations Rugby so what an incredible place to sit and watch the game looking out onto paradise. Special mentions to Benny and Bekar who made our stay wonderful. Always smiling and making sure we had everything we needed. I read before I booked here that some of the service was not good. I found the complete opposite. It was the perfect balance of attention and delivery. We had one of the sea view rooms where we listened to the sea and watched the surfers morning to night. If you are looking for a quiet room where you cant' hear the roar of the sea I'd book one of the garden rooms.

Ponci’s Gate to Gaia Holistic Center features an outdoor fireplace and a picnic area. We visited Panama for the second time, and once again, we absolutely loved it. While looking for a beautiful place to stay, we came across this little hidden gem 💍– and what a find it was! Arrival & Welcome We were picked up by a private boat and warmly welcomed. The boat ride took around 45 minutes and was truly enjoyable. Along the way, we received interesting information about the surrounding islands – and even spotted dolphins! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delicious welcome cocktail before our first meal. Such a lovely touch!☀️😍 Room The room was spacious and very comfortable. We’ve seen a lot of bathrooms throughout Panama, and many of them lack a proper shower. But here – the shower was fantastic! Great water pressure and lovely hot water – such a treat. :) Breakfast Breakfast was amazing. The host really listened to our preferences, and I was thrilled to have my fried egg every morning – along with fresh fruit and avocado. A perfect start to the day! Lunch Lunch was absolutely delicious – we had shrimp with coconut rice and plantains. A real taste of local cuisine that felt authentic and lovingly prepared. Dinner The highlight of our meals was definitely pizza night on our last evening! It was such a fun, communal experience with homemade pizza in creative and tasty varieties. So cool – and honestly, unforgettable. Surroundings The water around the property was crystal clear – it felt like swimming in a private aquarium. We saw a small shark, a stingray, colorful fish, and more – all right in front of our room. I’m usually a bit hesitant in the water, but here, I felt completely safe and at ease. The trees, the light, the tranquility – I can’t even describe how beautiful it was. Truly one of my personal highlights – such peace and connection with nature. Activities The hosts’ children were incredibly kind and welcoming.

A vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free breakfast is available at the property. I absolutely loved the spacious bungalow with lots of windows and the big porch, all surrounded by nothing but tropical garden. The houses are far enough from each other so that each one has its privacy. I enjoyed Meghan’s yoga class a lot, the yoga studio in the treetops with ocean view is amazing and I was allowed to use it for my own practice, too. Breakfast and dinner at the beautifully located restaurant was very good, each day different and I liked that it was mainly made with ingredients from the garden. I had a bit of bad luck with the weather but it looked like the reef in front of the property is worth checking out with snorkeling gear which is provided by the hotel as well as kayaks and SUP boards. I thought it was easy to get anywhere by watertaxi and Meghan and Ryan were always happy to help with anything.

The breakfast offers continental, American or vegetarian options. At Nayara Bocas del Toro you will find a restaurant serving American and Seafood cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. Food, service and staff were perfect. Setting is beautiful and peaceful.

All units come with a terrace with garden views, a kitchen with a fridge and an oven, and a private bathroom with shower. Maxi and his wife were such lovely hosts. They went out of their way to make sure that we had all the info that we needed about the area, including access to the surfbreaks, which was very much appreciated. Lovely treehouses that were built with love and thought by the owners. Very eco-minded, which we support 100 percent. The cabin was suspended in the jungle in a very quiet location, yet close to the beaches, which were a 5 minute walk away. Every day we could hear the Howler monkeys in the distance and hear and see the wide variety of tropical birds. Listening to the sounds of nature was so peaceful. We loved our stay there!

(UV Filtered drinking water) Property is located 9.6 km from the center of Isla Colon. The Retreat is an amazing place on Isla Colon, if you prefer to stay out of town, enjoying the beauty of Bluff Beach. Our room was beautiful. The gardens are amazing, we have been spotting sloths, monkeys, lots of different species of hummingbird, toucan, and so much more. The breakfast was great and the staff always so helpful and welcoming. We went on a nature walk that Martin recommended to us with a resident biologist (Corinna) and we enjoyed it a lot! Else, we spent our days at the beach, in the garden, or at the pool - it was exactly what we have been looking for.

The villas also feature a living area, a kitchen and coffee maker. Beautiful three bedroom house, newly renovated with a pool, overlooking the jungle in the ocean. Lots of wildlife around look at staff was great.

A buffet, American or vegetarian breakfast is available at the property. Absolutely gorgeous location. We enjoyed hiking, kayaking, and relaxing. The small resort size contributed to friendly conversation amongst the international clientele. Staff was great and attentive to every need.

Popa Paradisa is now Clothing Optional- guests are free to use the pool and beach wearing a bathing suit, topless, or entirely unclothed (nude). Clothing is required in other public spaces in the resort, such as the restaurant, reception and lobby bar.
