We liked our stay so much that we came back to stay again. The hotel has a beautiful ocean view, clean and comfortable rooms, good food, nice inside and outside pool, spa and sauna facilities.

The roof terrace sports a infinity pool, massage facilities and a 20-metre hot tub with views of Fort São João and the mountains. For further relaxation, Hotel Vine’s spa offers vinotherapy. The staff including Managers were very pleasant, accommodating and spoke perfect english. We travelled with our family of seven using 3 rooms. The breakfast was fantastic offering, cereal, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, coffees and my favourite freshly squeezed orange juice to name a few items. Our rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Separate large rooms for both the toilet and walk in shower. We had a great view of the sea port where the cruise ships were docked. The Vine has the best location in Funchal and is an easy walk to many attractions. This was my second visit to the Vine.

Les Suites at The Cliff Bay features a heated outdoor swimming pool and a garden in Funchal. Located in the Sao Martinho district, the property provides guests with access to a hot tub, a sauna and three restaurants. Spacious and tastefully decorated. We were very well cared for there. Breakfast was excellent. View from our room was spectacular.
