Schulphoek Seafront House is elegantly decorated with original mid-century art and furniture, and has spacious well-appointed modern bedrooms and bathrooms. The house offers a complimentary shuttle service in an around Hermanus and a concierge desk. Just stunning, can't wait to get back. The staff was very helpful and kind, the building looks amazing. Room was enormous, with a great bathroom. Very good complimentary wine to taste, great view, comfortable bed.

Every single aspect of the experience was remarkable. The staff was amazing! They would always go the extra mile to ensure everything we needed was properly taken care of. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated with quality elements paying attention to every detail. The quality and variety of the breakfast options were to the highest standards (buffet for cold dishes and a la carte for hot dishes). The location of the hotel is extremely convenient to avoid having to use the car, everything is within walking distance. On top of everything, the views from the hotel to the ocean and coastline are just spectacular! We'll definitely visit again!

The hosts were so kind! Once we arrived, we got welcome drinks by the pool, which was such a nice gesture. We loved staying here – the whole villa is so beautiful with lots of African art, a wonderful pool area and everything designed with attention to detail. The bed, the bathroom, and the breakfast table were beautifully decorated with fresh flowers. We would have loved to stay longer.

The guest house serves a full breakfast each morning and whales can actually be spotted from the terrace as you dine al fresco. The breakfast was wonderful--very fresh and well prepared. The location was exceptional. The hotel sits on a point overlooking the bay. We had come for whale watching, and could see the whales swimming from our room. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful in making dinner and activity reservation and airport transfers.
