Muchas gracias to the owners from Hotel Casa Carlota. The Hotel is near from Tamarindo, but you may be need a car to go there. For us it was perfect far away from the trouble. But its close to a supermarket. The room was very clean and we had enough space. You also have a fridge and a coffeemachine. We used the kitchen outdoor in the cooking area for the breakfast. There‘s also a swimmingpool, which was cleaned everyday. The owners are very friendly and they also give us good suggestions. The property is small set in a garden with trees and flowers. The room had a shady porch outside with seating. The property had loaner umbrellas which i thought a nice touch, since we are in the rainy season. I was given the WhatsApp for Emanuel should i need anything, and he was able to book me a shuttle to San Jose on my last day. Paula the housekeeper and the gardener, whose name i forgot, were accommodating. Everyone made me feel at home. Downtown and the beach are easy walking distances from the hotel.

If you take the time to get to know all the people who work there, you’ll have the best possible stay in Tamarindo. The common areas and the vibe of the hostel are warm and family-like. I always slept really well, and having access to a real gym is a huge bonus. I highly recommend it. The location is very strategic, close to almost everything including the bus arrival from San José, bank and supermarket. But you are far enough from any noise sources. The context is very nice.

Perfect location, 5 mins from the beach. All the staff is really nice and helpful. They have a very good surf instructor on site. Beds are super comfortable and the room was really clean. The kitchen has everything you need and loads of storage space for your own food. Close to restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shops. The perfect stay in Tamarindo. We will definetly come back.

Very cute and green, loved the community kitchen and it is super close to everything (supermarket, beach, playground and other shops). The staff is also very kind and lovely, great with kids. They made this place feel like home away from home.
