Beds were comfortable. Room was a reasonable size. The price was cheap, so in this case I guess you get what you pay for.

The staff was friendly, and I had an enjoyable experience at the onsen. The bed was extremely comfortable, allowing for a great night's sleep. My skin felt wonderful after using the onsen. The public onsen was also impressive, providing a chance to enjoy the hot natural springs under the moon and stars, with the autumn leaves falling gently around. It was very nice. Additionally, the restaurant served delicious food/drink.

Everything was perfection - starting from my arrival, public bathhouse experience, the cozy room, delicious dinner and breakfast and very kind staff members. The view of Mt. Aso from the third floor lookout and the footbath area is impeccable. Also, much special thanks to Mr. Isao Tsugayasu, who was extremely helpful and kind to us throughout the stay! Everything was perfect! Service was perfect, everyone was super polite and really made us feel taken care of. The meals were elaborate and delicious. The onsen in the room was magnificent, what a peaceful experience. I 100% recommend this Ryokan for a special onsen experience.
