Food is great. Breakfast comprises a wide variety of fruits, eggs, juices, jam and coconut sambal. Several Sri Lankan dinner options. Sound value for money. Hotel is very new. Almost all amenities needed. Amazing view from the room. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. We stayed during our honeymoon. They decorated the bed with flowers and even provided a little present (local tea).

From the moment of check in to check out, I had a wonderful stay at orient hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and professional and the food was delicious. Special mention must be made to the GM Mr. Chandima who was always on the scene and attentive to our needs. We were also provided with a Trek to Ella Rock accompanied by hotel staff and a packed hotel lunch which was an incredible experience I would highly recommend. Overall was a great visit and will definitely be staying here again next time I visit.

This was probably the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka. The owner was very kind. We rented a tuktuk going to Ella. He drove our tuktuk going to his place, bought us dinner from the city, and cooked us a very sumptuous breakfast. The place was amazing. Although it had no a/c, we were still able to sleep well at night. Apparently, there were not much bugs during our stay there. The place is just beside the famous Asanka Cafe.

A very nice hotel in Ella. The rooms are large and clean. The manager is extremely friendly and courteous. He always asks if everything is okay and responds immediately to any requests. The breakfast is delicious and offers a wide selection of local and international specialties. The hotel is in a great location. It is secluded, so you can enjoy peace and quiet, but the main street is only a few minutes' walk away. The view is spectacular. We would definitely come back again.
