Definitely one the better places I stayed at in Nepal. The room had a view on two sides which was really nice! The family that runs it is so kind and helpful. The food is really tasty and they have plenty of option to enjoy in the restaurant with a view. The shower was nice and warm. The water did take some time to warm up, but that's okay, you are also a bit higher up. When I left I forgot a cable in the room and the gentlemen was so fast to follow me with his scooter to bring me back the cable. They are really sweet people.

Where to start ? From the moment I booked the Hotel lake shore everything has been perfect. The communication on Whatsapp at every moment was kind and flawless especially thanks to Sanjog the manager. He took great care of us all along our journey in Pokhara (we ended up staying 8 nights), nothing was too much for him. We got picked up at the tourist bus station on arrival and dropped off the day of departure free of charge. The location of the hotel is perfect, street 6, close to the lake and all the attractions, restaurants etc. The rooms (we had several) are all perfect, comfortable, very clean, and with a good size. The rooms have everything you need, nice and comfy bed, kettle, tv, great bathroom with hot and powerful shower, plugs near to the bed, different lights but the special plus is the balcony with the view over the Machapuchare / fish tail ! The breakfast is also very good, plentyfull (especially if you take the english one) and the whole staff will just make you feel at home. They carry your lugage, bring water, towels, soap, toilet paper, plates, kitchen ware whatever on demand. Nothing seems ever too much for the people here. We've been travelling non stop for more than a year all around Asia and this hotel will stay in our top for a long time for sure. Last but not least, the value you get for the price you pay is unbeatable. Thanks again Sanjog and the whole team, if we ever come back to Pokhara we know where to go eyes closed !

Hotel Guru is an excellent place to stay. The room is very comfortable, great wifi, good value and a lovely breakfast. The staff are very caring and Guru the owner is very helpful. It’s an easy couple of minutes walk to the main areas. The thing I especially like about the stay is that it’s very quiet for sleep at night and is not on a busy road. I would highly recommend a stay here!!

Everything about this place was excellent. Stayed 2 nights on 18 October and got upgraded to a lovelier room on 3rd floor with big balcony and cable TV. .Very helpful owner, location was perfect, lovely leafy entrance and breakfast fantastic.
