We rented a car in Belize City and drove the 90 minutes to the resort ourselves, as shuttles to the property are very expensive and once you arrive there isn’t anything within walking distance. You can take the bus into Belmopan, but the freedom of having our own car was wonderful. This is a great home base for cave tubing and other jungle adventures and for visiting Mayan ruins.

Cahal Pech Village Resort also has a tour desk. We loved pretty much everything. Everyone was really nice. Our room was pretty clean. Also the hotel was great in general, nice views. The beds were really comfortable, we had a sleep so good we didn't hear our alarm haha.
